Denise was extremely friendly and professional! She responded to my online request quickly and was able to fit me in the schedule the next day. Don arrived within the time frame I was given. He was professional, friendly and confident. He was able to get my fireplace up in running within minutes. Great company all around and would definitely recommend them!!
I called GFRS because we were smelling propane from our propane insert. The woman I spoke with was very friendly and accommodating, gave their site visit price up front. They have a technician that works evenings, which was convenient. Donald showed up to our house on time, and wow! He found our issue right away, there was a WRONG connector behind the insert. He replaced the connector quickly and efficiently, explained what he was doing and why. We have a second free standing unit in our basement, he showed us how to ignite that unit and verified it was working properly (we had not used it since moving in several years ago). Do not hesitate to call this small family business to check your gas fireplace! They are terrific!

I'll be honest, I rarely take the time to write a reivew, but we are so happy with Rob's service that I feel compelled. They were able to schedule us super quickly to perform a general maintenance check and take a look at a suspected leak. Rob was incredibly thorough, fixed the leak, addressed some other issues with the fireplace as well, and took the time to explain the ins and outs of operating our fireplaces (we're new homeowners). I feel much more comfortable now and highly recommend these guys. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!
This is an absolutely outstanding company that combines remarkable customer service with incomparable technical expertise. In a short amount of time, Mike had our gas fireplace looking and functioning better than it ever has! Had my gas fireplace serviced by Gas Fireplace Repair Specialists on December 20, 2018. The scheduling process was efficient and the technician showed up right on time. Rob, the fireplace technician, was professional, courteous, and personable. He took great care in all aspects of my fireplace service. He explained to me exactly what he was doing and why. I needed a new pilot unit and Rob did a great job with the replacement. Along with that, Rob took great care in completely cleaning the existing parts and replacing the batteries in my remote wall unit. Rob also conducted tests for both carbon monoxide and errant constable gas before he buttoned everything back up; I was grateful for that extra step. I was also satisfied with the price. If you need to have your gas fireplace serviced, I highly recommend their service.
