Welcome to the Gas Fireplace Repair Specialist, LLC Website
Southern Anne Arundel County (Maryland) Premiere Gas Fireplace Repair Company
Hello, my name is Mike Donahue, and I am the owner of Gas Fireplace Repair Specialists. With more than 33 years in the gas fireplace field, I felt it was time to start a company dedicated to gas fireplaces.
In November 2009, I opened Gas Fireplace Repair Specialists with the goal of providing the type of service that most people need but have a hard time finding.
We are a full-service NFI-certified (nficertified.org) gas fireplace company with factory-trained technicians specializing in repairs, cleaning, inspections, and certification of gas fireplaces, log sets, vent-free (ventless) fireplaces, and room heaters.
The goal of Gas Fireplace Repair Specialists is to create a satisfied customer for each and every client, and I believe having referral by word of mouth is the most powerful tool for advertising. I guarantee you will have knowledgeable, friendly, prompt service.
I know how difficult it can be to find a qualified gas fireplace repair contractor, and I feel confident in my ability to meet all of your expectations. I want you to know that my customers are my number one focus.
Please take a moment to browse through the website to learn more about my company and the services that we can provide for you. If you have any questions or comments, or would like to schedule an appointment, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Energy Savings
Most new gas fireplaces are designed to heat your room, saving you money by zone heating. Zone heating is heating the area you are in and not heating the whole home. By doing this, you save money—most gas fireplaces cost about $0.50 an hour on natural gas and $0.99 an hour on propane.
If the fireplace is properly maintained, it will ensure its peak performance. Remember, most appliance manufacturers and gas providers recommend a yearly safety check of your gas fireplace.
There are some features you might consider adding to improve your fireplace’s efficiency, like a blower and thermostatic remote control.
A blower helps to circulate warm air through the room. A thermostatic remote control allows you to set the temperature you would like to keep the room at and prevents spiking (where the room gets too hot, then turns off, and the room gets cold).
